We engaged with over 120 people in the staff canteen from 8 am to 1 pm. We offered nutrition information alongside general healthy lifestyle advice for all employees. We had nutrition information sheets specific to the food that was being handed out by the community shop on the go van, alongside our usual visual aids to encourage low-fat diets.

The spin-to-win wheel was a fun and friendly way of interacting with staff, who won a variety of Your Space merchandise, including our takeaway reusable mugs, drawstring bags, trolley coins, and free coffee vouchers. We also gave away free day passes to our Metrodome facility, including use of the sauna and steam room, pool, and gym facilities.

Finally, we gave people the chance to leave their own feedback on our blackboard, which received many comments, including: “Wow, never seen anything like this before!” “This is great, who organised it?” “This is fantastic, are you coming back?” “Oh wow, is that the 5 lbs of my belly I’ve lost since Christmas?”
